Michael was born in Bern, Switzerland, in 2000. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and Molecular Sciences from the University of Bern in 2022. His Bachelor’s project under the supervision of Prof. Albrecht focused on the synthesis, characterization and catalytic application of ruthenium complexes for formic acid dehydrogenation. He joined the Frei Lab in January 2022 as a Master’s student to work on the synthesis, characterization and antimicrobial evaluation of metal complexes. In his free time, he enjoys reading, hiking, and traveling.
