Mirco earned his Master’s degree cum laude in Biomolecular Chemistry in 2020 from the University of Parma, after two Erasmus experiences at the Freie Universität Berlin and Otto-von-Guericke Universität Magdeburg. Now he is working as a PhD student in the group of Prof. Pelosi at the University of Parma. His research work focuses on the study of metal-based compounds and their interactions with biological systems. In September 2022 he joined the Frei Lab as a visiting PhD student.
