Sam was born in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire in the United Kingdom. He is currently an MChem student at the University of York, working on rhenium complexes as potential antimicrobial agents. When not in the lab, Sam enjoys going to the gym as well as kayaking from time to time. He also likes reading manga and playing darts.
